Cathy's Story poem 9 

Broadway

Broadway is an amazing place,

filled with bright light,

and city skies,

a place to express your emotions,

imagination,

and creativity,

Everyone gather around,

to watch the beautiful art,

from singing,

to dancing,

and even acting,

There's no other place that i most enjoy,

Broadway is amazing,

a great place to visit,

and i totally recommend it.

Story Journal

              I was inspired to write this poem because of a recent trip we went on.Which was going to Broadway and watching Phantom of the Opera.That was my first time watching a Broadway show and it was amazing!I loved the costumes,music,characters and the entire play.In the first stanza i wrote, "Broadway is an amazing place,filled with bright light,and city skies,a place to express your emotions,imagination,and creativity".I wrote this to show and describe how Broadway is. Broadway is an amazing place completely filled with bright lights.It is a place where actors,dancers and singers can express their emotion,imagination,and creativity,in this beautiful art.

              In the next stanza i wrote, "Everyone gather around,to watch the beautiful art,from singing,to dancing,and even acting".I wrote this to show that a lot of people from all around the world come and gather together to watch this beautiful art. What i mean by art is that it is not physically making illustrations,but instead is a style of art.Such as the singing,acting,and dancing.I mean who wouldn't want to come here and watch this?

              Finally,in the last stanza i wrote, "There's no other place that i most enjoy,Broadway is amazing,a great place to visit,and i totally recommend it."I wrote this to show that after going on this trip.It has completely changed my perspective about Broadway. Now i am even obsessed with Phantom of the Opera.Broadway is a beautiful art with great performers.It is a great place to visit and i totally recommend it.Even though most of our class went on this trip. All in all,Broadway is a beautiful art and an amazing place!
