#9 poem+ journal

Fist fights.
Long nights.
Hiding under the covers,
Hiding from reality.
We all have insecurities.
But we hide them in a box.
This box over fills if you don't let some of it out

A box of fears,insicurities,secrets.
No one knows enough to understand about ours
Our vents and struggles
Over come by what makes us happy.
Friends,family,dogs,smiles,music.
Anything

Everyone grows out of there insicurities.
To then blossom into what makes us, us.
No longer hiding, no longer keeping it inside
Everyday we can find something to smile about <3

This poem was inspired by ms. Leon's poem about our boxes where we hide and what makes us who we are. No matter what there will always be something that happens or happened that can make you happy. The mood of the story is kind of gloomy but is a blast from the past when we remeber our moment where we couldn't help but smile. This poem describes us hiding things that upset us which usually over flows when we keep it all in. The reader is supposed to picture a box over flowing with memories as I thought of it was a card board box that had several photos spilling out. I compared these labels to photos in a box because they are memories and do make us who we are. I made this poem and got inspired when listening to one of Tøp's songs in which it says "I've be thinking to much, help me" this made me think when you think a lot about something it can also flash back to old memories that aren't the best. And I wanted people to picture themselves laughing with there friends or pets when they are upset and be surrounded by there favorite people when they are.
