Smiles

A smile is more than just a U on your face.

They show what you are feeling on the inside,

Happiness or sadness.

A feeling you can only express with 

that big U on your face a smile.

Do not doubt the power of a smile for it

can bring some happiness for a long, long time.

Anyone can read your mind by just a look of the face.

If you are feeling down or blue just 

remember... their is someone else who loves you.

Bad feelings can sometimes spread as fast as 

a flue, but if you would like to make the

small difference to someone who isn't

Feeling good then just smile even if you don't mean it 

and they will to.

A smile is a powerful thing life, changing it can be.

If you use it right then you can be as strong 

 as a loving mother.

So remember even if you smile it sometimes 

take a while to work, but when it does you will see

how much it can really be.

The reason i wrote this poem is to show how powerful just one small action can be. A little thing like a smile can turn someones day around. I use the metaphor, "as strong as a loving mother" because some people say their is almost nothing stronger than a loving mothers smile. The poem has a very positive mood on it because of the certon Words and colors i decided to use. For example whenever i wrote smile i would put it a "soft" tone of orange. Also in my poem their are almost no negative words like sadness or sorrow. And no "sad" colors like this one. My poem describes how a U on your face (a smile) can mean so much even tough it is so small. Some things are unexplainable like sadness and happiness. But their is one way to explain them. By slapping a big U onto your face and that will tell everyone what is going on. But if you are feeling so bad that you cant even put on a fake smile, then their is only one thing to do... Frown. This will make you look sad and mean. Only on a last resort do you this. But my poem shows that smiling is good and always try to smile.
