where do poems come from?

Where do poems come from?

This poem sprung up from a seed,
And grew through the reeds

It spun and leaped and twirled through
The winds of songs and memories

And created a beloved Willow
The writer then used their book of leather
And a feather and wrote whatever came to them

This poem is about how poems are created, they first start out as a small idea and burst into a big idea. Poems all start out small and as you collect more thoughts and inspiration a poem begins to form. It's very helpful to make a word bank as we did in class in which we used those words to create our poems. Poems are also usually about memories so in this poem the wind was memories. And quickly after the poem flows to your mind you gotta quickly jot down you're ideas to help you create you're poem.
