Showtime

I was not that nervous
However
It was our first time performing
I thought it would be
Really fun
We had begun
I was playing my instrument
It was great
We messed up though
It was kind of
Embarrassing
We had finished
I had been disappointed
It was actually pretty funny
But then the audience
Had clapped
I was in shock
"Whoo!"
We got off stage
I was confident
My friend had said,
"That was great!"
It had made me really happy
"Thanks!", I replied
It was a good day
